Lisa Clark, PhD, is the Quality of Life/Palliative Care team psychologist and bereavement coordinator at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  She coordinates the hospital’s bereavement program, which has been developed with and implemented by bereaved parent advisers.  Dr. Clark works closely with Patient Family-Centered Care at St. Jude to identify, onboard and place bereaved parents into roles within the hospital’s parent-to-parent support and Quality of Life programs.  Dr. Clark has led a group of bereaved parent advisers in developing training manuals for all specialized bereaved parent adviser roles.  She coordinates the St. Jude Quality of Life Steering Council, an advisory council of bereaved parents and psychosocial staff that serves to improve end-of-life and bereavement care for patients and families. 

Dr. Clark received her doctorate in clinical psychology from University of MemphisShe was in private practice for 26 years and then supervised the Shelby County School’s alcohol and drug treatment program and a team of mental health professionals operating within the school system’s licensed mental health center prior to coming to St. Jude.  Dr. Clark has been active in community volunteer efforts throughout her career
