Dr. Susan Palasis is currently the Division Chief of Pediatric Neuroradiology and Vice Chair of Clinical Operations at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Feinberg School of Medicine Northwestern University and also the Medical Director at the Facility for Education & Research in Neuroscience (FERN) Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center at Emory University. Dr. Palasis has conducted research and published on advanced neuroimaging techniques in children and pediatric disease. She is frequently invited to speak on a broad variety of topics pertaining to pediatric neuroimaging throughout the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Palasis is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) and serves on the Executive Committee of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR). She participates on numerous committees of the ASNR, ASPNR, American Spine Society (ASSR), American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR), and the Society of Pediatric Radiology (SPR). Dr. Palasis is a past president of the ASPNR and was the Program Chair for the 1st Annual ASPNR Scientific Meeting held in New Orleans in 2019.
