A.              Personal Statement

As a member of the department of Pediatric Surgery at Virgen del Rocio Children’s Hospital (Sevilla, Spain), I am focused on the surgical treatment of pediatric solid tumors. I completed a 2-year fellowship (2009-2011) at St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital and since then my practice has been mainly based in pediatric oncology. In 2014, I became a faculty member at the department of Surgery at St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital and I held that position for 4 years. Since 2018, I hold a faculty position at Virgen del Rocio Children’s Hospital..
