Arastoo Vossough, MD, PhD

Arastoo Vossough, PhD, MD is an associate professor of radiology and an adult and pediatric neuroradiologist at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2006. He has presented over 250 invited lectures, visiting professorships, and abstracts nationally and internationally. He has published more than 100 papers and book chapters and one book. He is a passionate teacher, having won multiple teacher of the year awards. His areas of interest include all aspects of advanced and functional MRI imaging, clinical CT and MRI sequence optimization, pediatric cerebrovascular diseases, neurologic effects of congenital heart disease, neuroimage quantitative analysis, temporal bone imaging, rare pediatric pathologies, and more recently, applications of machine learning approaches in medical predictive modeling. He has been President of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology for 2018-2019.
