Jennifer Smith Tagg, MS, CCLS, CIMI®, earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in child life from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate child life internship at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee, and her graduate child life internship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.  She became a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in May 2001 and began her career at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona where she worked for 6 years.  Jennifer has been working at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for 18 years and she is currently a Child Life Specialist Manager and a Paws at Play facility dog handler.  She provides child life services for brain tumor and solid tumor service lines, inpatient and outpatient.  Jennifer serves as the Child Life Program Student Coordinator, a member of the Quality of Life Bereaved Parent Steering Council member, and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) through the International Loving Touch Foundation, Inc.
