Friday, February 25, 2022, 7:45 AM - 9:00 PM, Hybrid, Memphis, TN

Overview

To fill the practice gap related to the role imaging and imaging research can provide in the evaluation of cognition following cancer treatment, the benefit imaging research plays in the evaluation of side effects, and the role imaging can play regarding outcomes.

Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Describe the anatomy and physiology of hippocampus
  2. Explain the cognitive functions of hippocampus
  3. Outline the role of imaging in quantitative assessment of structures and functions of hippocampus
  4. Explain the mechanisms of hippocampal injury by cancer therapy
  5. Explain manifestations of hippocampal injury and how to measure them
  6. Evaluate and mitigate cognitive decline resulting from cancer therapy-induced hippocampal

Registration

At this time, the PBII 2022 Research Symposium will be a hybrid event. We are offering an on-site option for an additional cost.  If you select to attend in-person, there will be a $25.00 surcharge added to your registration fee.  In-person registration will be capped at 40 registrants.
