Overview

The 2023 ISLCCC will focus on the exchange of innovative ideas among medical and pediatric oncologists (fellows, residents), nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, and other associated allied health professionals who, in the past, have attended from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, Canada, and the United States. Two themes for the 2023 meeting will be Interventions to Remediate Late Effects and Emerging Late Effects of Novel Therapies.

Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Implement appropriate interventions to prevent, remediate, or promote early detection of cancer-/treatment-related medical and psychosocial complications in childhood cancer survivors.
  2. Recognize challenges in delivery of high quality survivorship care
  3. Identify emerging signals of late toxicity associated with novel cancer treatment
  4. Describe common long-term physical and emotional sequelae of childhood cancer
