1. The childhood cancer experience increases risks for chronic disease and psychosocial challenges across the lifespan.
2. Survivorship care after completion of therapy that considers a survivor’s unique risks associated with the cancer experience in the context of primary care can provide opportunities for early detection and interventions to improve health.
3. Comprehensive care including psychosocial services are essential to optimize duration and quality of survival after childhood cancer.
