Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to: 

  1. Review the utilization of long-acting asparaginase products in pediatric patients with ALL and Lly
  2. Compare the adverse effect profiles of pegaspargase and calaspargase pegol based on COG study updates
  3. Examine the role of pediatric oncology pharmacists when assessing toxicity risks with long-acting asparaginase products

Users must complete all of the following steps in the specified timelines to ensure CE credit is awarded for each of these 3 sessions:

  • Create a CloudCME account with an updated profile that includes the participants NABP# and month/day of date of birth (required for credit upload to NABP.net). For participants in countries that do not use NABP, please enter that number as '000000'.

  • Text your attendance by the end of the day on 9/18/25 (see the CloudCME help page for instructions). An attendance code will be provided at the end of each session.

  • Complete the test and evaluation (for each session) in your CloudCME profile within 4 weeks of the presentation (10/16/25)

CE credit should appear on your NABP profile within 4 weeks after the program (a certificate is provided immediately for participants in countries that do not use NABP). If credit does no appeart, contact the St. Jude CE staff ([email protected]) immediately. CE credit that is outstanding may not be able to be awarded if the time since the program has exceeded 6 weeks.


Accreditation

The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital designates this for a maximum of 1.00 CPE hours (0.1 CEU per 1 CPE hour).

Pharmacy continuing education credit will be available to all participants who attend, text attendance, and complete a program assessment and evaluation. Credits will be uploaded and viewable on-line at www.napb.net within approximately two weeks following the date of the presentation.  Participants should contact the CPE staff if credit does not appear within 4 weeks of a program.
