Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to: 

  1. Describe global approaches to pharmacogenomic implementation, including the challenges and opportunities in diverse healthcare systems.
  2. Discuss strategies for managing preemptive pharmacogenomic results that emerge through reactive testing workflows.
  3. Summarize implications of preemptive pharmacogenomic results on clinical care and documentation.
  4. Evaluate best practices for returning pharmacogenomic results from research biobanks.
  5. Evaluate best practices for returning pharmacogenomic results to patients in a responsible, actionable, and patient-cented manner.
