Management of the Decompensating Patient

This educational event will equip attendees with strategies for identification and management of patients with acute changes in clinical status. This event will focus specifically on neurologic assessment, identification and management of neurologic disorders, and identification and management of fluid and electrolyte imbalances.

1. Complete a full neurological examination autonomously
2. Identify acute changes in neurological status
3. Manage and dose fluid and electrolytes based on clinical status and laboratory results
4. Demonstrate ability to apply fluid and electrolyte knowledge through completion of case studies.
