Overview
This meeting is focused on the surgical management of central and peripheral nervous system tumors in children.

Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, you should be able to:

  1. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of the various surgical approaches to the pineal/posterior 3rd ventricle
  2. Describe the various surgical strategies to manage craniopharyngioma
  3. Describe the various kinds of technology that can be used in the operating room to achieve surgical excellence.
  4. Describe the preoperative workup in children with chronic epilepsy and recently diagnosed tumor
